Foldable utility knife

This is a 3D-Printable utility knife with retaining spring to keep it open or closed.

The body is completely 3D printed

It accepts standard trapezoidal blades

For assembly required hardware:

Assembly steps:

(Use the CAD image provided as reference)

Insert the hex nuts into their corresponding cutouts (light press fit)
Set the spring into it's recess and screw it down using one of the M3x6mm screws
Set the blade holder onto the lower case (in its closed position)
Set the printed washer onto the joint (small chamfer facing upwards)
Put the upper case on top of the assembly (make sure the washer stays in place)
Insert the M4 screw into the joint
Insert the M3x10 screws into the back of the case
Insert the blade
- First put the sharp edge under the recess at the bottom of the blade holder
- then pressin the top of the blade
Allign the blade cover with the provided holes
Insert the left over screws and tighten them to secure the blade
