I really like lithophanes and wanted a fast-printing, bare-bones frame for smaller square lithophanes. This parametric frame is customizable using the Bambu customizer or OpenSCAD. I usually use it for 120mm lithophanes or smaller since I get great light intensity with a single light strip around the inside edge. They print flat with no supports in less than two hours for the 120mm frame and reflector. Use any color or monochrome lithophane generator like Make My Lithophane, Lithophanemaker, PIXEstl or others. Adjust the frame to the size and thickness of your lithophane and generate stls for the frame and the reflector. Install a single length of 8mm light strip around the inner edge. 120mm, 100mm and 80mm sizes included in the profile, as well as sample lithophanes in each size. Customizer Instructions

Use the Bambu customizer or Open SCAD to generate any size frame up to the limit of the plate. To use the customizer, select “Customize” and adjust the parameters.

If using Bambu's “Make My Lithophane”, select “Colorful Litho Without Frame”.

Select 1:1 ratio and adjust the size so that the outer dimension matches your frame dimension. MML generates lithophanes with a 2mm border, so your lithophane dimension needs to be 4mm smaller to account for it. (Or set the border to 0 in the attribute section).

There are two ways to export the models; as a .3mf or as separate stls. If you export as a .3mf, the reflector and the frame will be merged into an assembly. To separate them, just right click and split into objects so you can print them separately in different colors. If you want to export them as stls and plate them yourself, toggle the “show frame” parameter to off to display and export the reflector. Likewise, toggle the “show reflector” parameter off to display and export the frame.
