A beautiful and unique wine rack with a fully customizable hexagonal design. No Support needed! 

Also a good and cheap Christmas present!

Created by me, an Italian designer, this piece was inspired by the desire to bridge the past and present through a blend of simple yet intricate forms, reminiscent of elements from the past and more innovative shapes tied to the present.

You can 3D print the rack and personalize it by choosing your preferred shapes and colors. In the photos, you'll see my version, featuring a hexagonal wooden front, which I crafted using my laser cutter.

The design is modular, allowing you to assemble and modify it with interlocking pins provided in the file, enabling endless combinations.

Print instruction:

For increased durability, print using a stronger profile (I used the standard profile for a quicker print, but draft profile is also fine to go quick).

1. Print profile 1: If you want to easily change the front color, you can print two front hexagons, allowing you to swap colors by printing a new hexagon (print profile 1 wine-shelf-v3-3mm).
2. Print profile 2: You can 3D print the wine rack with self-closing doors (see photos and video for reference). This way, when you remove the wine, the cap closes automatically using gravity. (optional) To ensure a perfect seal, you'll need a small elastic band (as shown in the photos). (print profile 2 wine-shelf-v3-self-door.mm) 
3. Print profile 3: If you don't plan to change the color often, you can print a single front hexagon with a 6mm thickness (print profile 3 wine-shelf-v3-6mm)
