This is an OpenScad script to generate Gridfinity holders for dial indicators. It is uses the gridfinity_extended_openscad, which must be present in the parent folder.

The following variables are available:

• bins_x - The amount of Gridfinity units the holder will span in the X axis
• bins_y - The amount of Gridfinity units the holder will span in the Y axis
• bin_height - The height of the holder, in multiples of 7 (mm)
• body_diameter - The diameter of the indicator body (not the face!)
• arm_top_diameter - The diameter of the arm at the top of the indicator
• arm_top_length - The length of the arm at the top of the indicator (set to 0 if none)
• arm_bottom_diameter - The diameter of the arm at the bottom of the indicator
• arm_bottom_length - The length of the arm at the bottom of the indicator
• arm_bottom_lip_diameter - The diameter of the lip of the arm at the bottom of the indicator
• arm_bottom_lip_length - The length of the lip of the arm at the bottom of the indicator
• arm_height - The height (reference for the bottom of the body) of the arm axis
• indent_height - The height of the indent for the indicator to sit in
• bracket_width - The width of the bracket mounted at the back of the indicator (set to 0 if none)
• bracket_height - The height of the bracket mounted at the back of the indicator (set to 0 if none)
• tip_diameter - The indicator tip diameter
• tip_length - The indicator tip length
• mounting_points - Array containing the angles of indicator mounting points on the side of the body
• mounting_point_width - The width of the mounting points
• mounting_point_length - The length of the mounting points
