Configuration 1 requires AMS, while configuration 2 does not require AMS. 
With AMS, you don't need to replace consumables and can simply confirm to continue. 
Use white consumables initially. 
The first pause for manually changing to black (or a similar color) 
The second pause for manually changing to white. 
Remember: Use the screen to advance and retreat the consumables, do not press the "Print" button during the process of replacing the consumables.
