Suspended Tie Bomber

This is a new addition to my suspended star wars collection and its the TIE bomber..

The whole suspended ship was modelled using Tinkercad.. I made the frame out of a exploding deathstar and the tie bomber is in the middle of it..

It printed it using 3 bambu PLA color.. black.. grey/silver.. and red.. if you'd like to use the Bambu filament.. please consider buying it using my affiliate links..

On a side note.. ever since the latest update on Bambu Studio.. my suspended models are making a weird color strings whenever im printing multicolor.. the strings would have 2 colors even though its floating.. how the hell is that going to work.. it prints on a single string of extruded filament.. how is it going to connect 2 different color filament..
Anyway.. to solve this problem i had to change the color of the tie bomber and the strings to black color so it would match.. so that the strings would not print in multicolor.. I hope bambu lab solves this problem soon.. its limiting my color designs for my suspended models..

For the first layer i added a 2 layer brimm that connects the TIE bomber 2 bodies to the wings.. since i had several failure from the wings since its too small 1st layer footprint.. by combining the 4 parts together with a brimm.. the ship sticks to the plate..

I also added channel for RGB LED strip.. Im currently using bambu lab RGB LED strip.. you will need 455mm length of the strip.. you need to cut the entrance brimm where the LED strip is inserted.. the hole wont fit the LED strip..
