I designed a modular key and accessory hanger inspired by a hexagonal/honeycomb pattern, which allows you to create a fully customizable setup. The base and backplate are separate pieces, making it easier to print and assemble. Each module is designed to fit precisely into the honeycomb slots, so you can swap them out and rearrange them as needed.

For best results, I recommend printing the pieces at a 0.2 mm layer height. This setting worked well for me and provided a good balance between print quality and speed. If you find that some modules aren’t fitting perfectly into their spots, don’t worry!

Sometimes, a small difference at the bottom of a module can prevent it from fitting snugly. In that case, I suggest using a scalpel or an X-Acto knife to carefully trim the edges at the bottom of the modules—just a slight adjustment should allow them to fit nicely.

This modular system can organize keys, as well as small items like sunglasses, USB drives, and even small tools. Feel free to get creative with how you use it, and don’t hesitate to customize the design to fit your specific needs!
