Subbuteo Classic Goal Base

Screw this down to your board (you can use tiny railway track self tapping screws 1.4 x 10mm) and press the square Goal legs in, this set is from the late 1980's early 1990's

I made the fit tight and filed the legs slightly to get a good push-fit.

Added small countersunk holes along the back rail so the goalie doesn't keep snagging on the screw heads.
