Need boxes to store and organize your bits and pieces, screws and bolts - or just organizer your messy drawer in your desk? - then print some Gridfinity boxes! These are quicker to print than the original versions - and use less filament.

They are of course stackable - meaning that you can stack fx. 2 boxes of 6u height - and they will match 1 box of 12 height. Arrange and rearrange your drawer content with ease!

If you print the very thin versions, it’s not recommended to use for heavy items that needs to move around all the time. But if it’s just to seperate items in a drawer, and not move around, print whatever version fits you and your nozzle size. These are for you who doesn't need the magnet part of the Gridfinity system.

Sizes

There are over 500 sizes/files - ready for you to download for free.

They are organized in folders with different dimensions. It’s the thickness of the walls - from 0.4 mm to 1.6 mm. Within each folder are alle sizes of boxes. (Download the complete set and sort by name to easily find the sizes you need)

Files are named AxBxCxD

• A: Width of the box (each section is 42 mm)
• B: Length of the box (each section is 42 mm)
• C: Height of the box (each section is 7 mm - fx. 6u = 42 mm heigh)
• D: Thickness of walls (fx. 0.4, 0.6 or 0.8 mm to fit nozzle sizes)

Boxes come in sizes from 1x1 (42x42 mm) to 6x6 (252x252 mm)

Select the wall thicknesses that fit the nozzle you have on your printer:

• 0.4 mm nozzle
  • 0.4 mm for single wall (very thin but super quick!)
  • 0.8 mm for double wall (stronger but still quick)
• 0.6 mm nozzle
  • 0.6 mm for single wall (thin but very quick!)
  • 1.2 mm for double wall (stronger but still quick)

Assembly

To organize the boxes in a drawer or on the desk, use the baseplates for the gridfinity system. Use the model here :

Print instructions

These tips can maybe help

• Speed on first layer: 50% (or less) (To ensure good bed adhesion and perfect fit)
• Supports: NO supports - that would prevent you from spinning the faces afterwards.
