This easy print spin top was the first patopato design to hit 1,000 downloads — and it made me more certain about the direction I want to take: I don't want to make models that just look good on a shelf. I want to make toys that are made to be played — not just displayed. 

Honestly though, downloads were slow at first. It wasn't until the next day, when I retook the cover photo to make it obvious at a glance — this is a spin top — that downloads started to pick up noticeably. That experience also taught me one very important reminder.
