(Edit January 12th, 2025) I have adjusted the tolerance inside the connectors to eliminate the snapping issue that some people have run into as well as strengthening the connectors and fine tuning the supports. If you previously had fitment issues, try the test print to see if its better for you. If the tolerance is good, you can reprint the angles pieces to complete the cat toy. The straight tube pieces have not been changed, so you will not need to reprint those if you still have them. I greatly appreciate everyone's feedback and support.  Thanks! 

(Edit Sept 16th, 2024) CALIBRATE YOUR MACHINE AND FILAMENT. This is very important.  Two people reported the fitment was too tight, and today someone reported the fitment was too loose. This is because of the machine calibration, filament calibration, and possibly layer shifting. Make sure your printer and filament are both calibrated, as well as having a clean build plate for bed adhesion. 

(Edit Sept 5th, 2024)- I added a -1% scale print profile for the straight pieces for anyone having fitment issues. I was considering adjusting the main profiles, but I felt this was better since its only happening to a few printers.

I designed this cat ball track to be modular so if you wanted it to wrap around a cat tree or anything specific, you aren’t limited to just the oval shape.

The main profile is for the X1c, P1p/P1s, and A1. After opening the .3mf or importing into Bambu Studio, you’ll see three different plates. The first plate includes everything needed in the photos to complete the entire cat toy, and the second and third plates are extra pieces for customization to make any type of corners that you would like, so you can go around cat trees, a litter box, side tables, etc.

There is also a custom .3mf For the A1 mini. For the A1 mini, you will need to print the first and second plate to complete the oval cat toy. Then if you want to customize it with 45° corners, you can print the third plate and add as many straight pieces and corners as you desire.

It is very important that you do not change any of the settings. Specifically the support and brim. There was a lot of trial and error to get this perfect, and it’s set up specifically for the Bambu Handy app to be ready to go.

The track is also designed for a 40 mm ping-pong ball, but I have included a 40 mm sphere for anyone that may not have ping-pong balls available. if you have other cat toys with bells, those will also work great. (under 40mm ofc)

It is also designed to have a snug fit, but make sure the straight pieces are lining up with the corners properly. You will notice there is a flat spot on each straight, so make sure to align to the bottom of the toy properly. See the last photo for detail on this.
