I've been intrigued by other passthrough models I've seen posted here and on other sites and I decided to design one around a rocket. The pass through element visually acts as the flames for the rocket and is just genuinely fun to play with.
See my updated design which includes the NASA worm logo here:

After some feedback, I've updated this model to include custom supports and additional clearance for the passthrough.
Here are a few notes about the print:
- This model prints on two plates. The print by object option won't work because the models are about 4 inches tall.
- The rocket requires both a brim and supports. This is already included in the print profile. The fins of the rocket have a small plate contact region which requires the brim for bed adhesion, and the base of the rocket requires the supports.
- The flame insert also requires a brim to ensure bed adhesion being a tall narrow model.
Custom Support Details

The fin supports are designed to be really easy to remove. The support for the rocket base can be a little more difficult to remove, but I thought it was important to ensure there was a good support since some people had issues with the supports and initial print at that location. I used a pair of pliers to pull the cylindrical base off of the print. Every time I have printed this it snapped off cleanly and leaves a better surface there than the computer generated supports.
