This spool ring adapter is redesigned to use flexible TPU, with a lip that catches the back side of the cardboard to keep it snugly in place. It is tested and working with the Hydra AMS mod, and is about the same thickness of most other spool adapters, so it should fit where they do.

Printed using Siraya Tech 85A TPU. Yours may have a small amount of loose stringing where the overhang didn't adhere on the first pass, but it can be safely pinched off without affecting the usability. Just make sure not to pull on it like a loose thread when doing so.
