A friend asked me to design and make him a suppressor storage case. So, here it is. Designed to accept inserts, so that the insert can be customized to most suppressors, or, anything else you'd like to store! Included is a blank, uncut insert plug that you can edit in the CAD program of your choice. The box fits together tightly. In conjunction with the magnets, it holds very well. I am 5' 10", and 220lbs. I was able to stand and bounce on this print without it warping, breaking, or deforming.

The included inserts are for a suppressor that is 1.73"(43.942mm) in diameter, and up to 6.8"(172.72mm) Long. Obviously, any item that is the same diameter and shorter will fit. You may need to use a bit of foam, or, edit the provided blank of you can doesn't fit, tightly.

*NOTE:When you cut the insert, be aware that the lid portion of the case is shallower than the bottom. The Bottom insert should be cut to be to 29.54-29.58mm in height, which, should automatically size the upper insert, and fit flush with the internal portion of the case. You can also measure the included inserts in a slicer like Bambu Studio( or similar program/slicer) to see the heights needed.

The inserts and plug included pressed into my case halves tightly, with a little force. Just make sure you slide them in, evenly. The magnets can be inserted with pressure. I've included the magnets I used below, they are 8mm x 2mm( they actually measured closer to 1.75mm thick with my calipers). I also placed a TINY dab of CA glue under the magnets. it doesn't NEED the glue, but, I did it anyway. Just remember that if you use glue, a literal pin drop is all that is needed or, it will squeeze out and make a mess. Even worse, too much glue can cause a hydrolock and your magnets may not sit flush!

Enjoy the model! Also, remember, placing anything HOT/Very Warm inside this will warp it IF you print this model in PLA.
