Treasure chest with a working lock. The lock is based on a compliant mechanism. The length and width of the inside volume are 170 and 210 mm respectively.

Print instructions:

• Make sure to take precautions to prevent warping of the chest.
• The seal is designed to be printed with TPU.
• Make sure your overhang settings are dialed in for the top part of the chest. Printability will be improved in a future update.

Additional parts that are required:

• 1x M2.5x8 cap head bolt
• 2x M2.5x20 cap head bolts (or longer)
• 3x M2.5 nuts

Assembly instructions:

• Place the insert inbetween the compliant bars. The hexagonal extrusion of the insert should face the outer side of the chest. This extrusion aligns with the circular cutout that is used for the key.
• Place the M2.5 nut in the hexagonal extrusion of the hook.
• The hook can now be inserted into the top part of the chest. The nut should be facing the outer side of chest. Once inserted, use a M2.5x8 bolt to fasten the hook.
• Insert the seal into the groove of the chest.
• Insert the two M2.5 nuts into the hexagonal extrusions of the hinge cutouts.
• The top and bottom part can now be connected. Complete the hinge by bolting the two M2.5x20 bolts in the hinge cutouts.
