Descrição
I was playing around with non self-locking threads and this is the result: Stackable spiral containers, printed in vase mode.
You can screw one container to the other. With the closed end facing the top you get a closed container.
But I have to admit that this is more a design experiment than a usefull model. Try it yourself, print it and play with it. The smaller heights can be printed fast and do not need much filament.
Print preparation:
Make sure that your print bed is clean and grease-free and use a quality brand filament.
Print settings:
Use the 0.20mm Standard settings in the slicer. Switch on Spiral Vase Mode (under Others) and use a outer wallthickness of 0.8mm. This will result in a “normal” fit. If you want a more loose fit, try 0.6mm wallthickness.
I added two print profiles with 0.8mm wallthickness. One for A1, P1 and X1 with nine models in different heights and one for the A1 mini with six different heights. You do not need an AMS as every plate can be printed seperately.
