This model is based off the excellent Mini Arcade model found here - [https://makerworld.com/en/models/94544#profileId-102047](https://makerworld.com/en/models/94544#profileId-102047)
I was also provided valuable information from @gnosu on how to find parts that would fit and the idea for using thumb screws for easy swapping in/out.
These control panels allow for easy drop in/pop out of different controllers for use with the Mini Arcade. Along with the Sanwa joystick used in the original design, I also created control panels for a trackball and spinner. Along with the control panels, I also had to modify the Right/Left panels to add a shelf to support the control panels on since they no longer fit into the grooves of the side panels.
Controllers used:
GRS LED Arcade Trackball Game V3 | TS-UTB-PRO × 1 - [https://thunderstickstudio.com/products/arcade-trackball-game](https://thunderstickstudio.com/products/arcade-trackball-game)
GRS USB Button Hole Spinner | TS-BSP-02 × 1 - [https://thunderstickstudio.com/products/usb-spinner](https://thunderstickstudio.com/products/usb-spinner)
They are secured by 4 thumb screws - [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CQW8T5V4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CQW8T5V4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1)
Installing the spinner onto its control panel is very simple…just slide in from the top and screw on the bottom washer piece to secure in. In case you don't get a tight fit (I had a problem with the washer unscrewing itself from all the twisting motion), you can either find a rubber washer to put in between for some friction or you can print out the included washer stl if you are able to print TPU.
The trackball is little more involving. The trackball case/mount screws in from the bottom of the control panel. I inserted 4x m3 knurled nuts (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BYVLXL7D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) into the holes using a soldering iron to give the mount something secure to screw into. To fill in the gap between the mount and the control panel I printed the washers (provided with the 3mf). I used 4x m3 14mm screws. I provided a picture of this part to make it easier to follow.
