Rules of the game
Pretty much the same as normal Chess, with some minor changes.
Players take turns in a clockwise order. In team games, turns alternate between Teams.
The movement of pieces follows standard chess rules, but with the added complexity of navigating a larger board.
When a player is checkmated, their king is removed from the board, but their remaining pieces stay and can be captured by other players.
The game can end in various ways, including checkmating all other players in individual play or achieving checkmate against both opposing kings in team play. Points may be awarded based on captures, checkmates, and remaining pieces. If a player is in a stalemate position, the game rules for that variant will dictate the next steps. Often, the player is considered eliminated, similar to checkmate, and their pieces remain on the board.

Game Modes
Here are a couple of cool game modes to try out. Feel free to create own variants and modes.
Free-For-All
Battle royale.
Play against 3 other Players.
Last Player Standing wins.
Double Up
Team up with a friend and defeat both kings of the enemy Team.
Each Team picks 2 colors.
Target Chess
Each player has a designated target player they must checkmate.
At the beginning of the game, each player is secretly assigned another player to target.
The game is won when a player successfully checkmates their target. If a player's target is checkmated by another player, their target changes to the player who made the checkmate.
Horde
One or more players have a large number of pawns, while the other players have standard chess armies.
The game is asymmetrical, with one side trying to overwhelm with pawns while the other side defends and counterattacks.
Alliances
Players form temporary alliances to achieve mutual goals, but only one player can ultimately win.
Players can form and break alliances throughout the game to improve their position.
The game ends when there is only one player left standing, having checkmated all others or having the most points when a mutual agreement to end the game is reached.
King of the Hill
Players must move their king to the center of the board and keep it there for a certain number of turns.
The player whose king stays in the center for the required number of turns wins the game.
Crazy House
Captured pieces can be dropped back onto the board under the captor's control.
Players can place captured pieces back onto any empty square on the board during their turn, which the counts as the move.

Printing and assembly:

0.4 nozzle
0.2 layer height
Monocolor, no AMS needed!
No glue needed.
Total filament: 668g
The whole board is made out of 12 black pieces that fit together like a puzzle. 4 main board parts (2 unique parts) and 8 side board parts (4 unique parts).
78 2x2cm White Tiles are printed separately and inserted on top of the black parts. 4 coloured tiles are added in the middle square for style Points. The colored tiles have the same dimensions as the White tiles.
The Border Pieces outline the board and should be colored accordingly.
Print the pieces in whatever color you prefer. They too will get click'd into place.
Use force to push the tiles into the black shape, as shown in the gif. For more force, press the backside of the plate against your table. You’ll hear a click when the tile is correctly placed. This can be tricky, and small print errors can cause problems. If this method doesn't work, try a different angle, a different tile, or grind the tile. The board should be smooth and even after.
Rubber hammer can be used to quickly insert the tiles.

The figures have pre set support in the print profile. Just select your 4 colors and print the plate with it!
The board parts are not meant to be permanently connected, but it's absolutely possible. If you want a permanent connection, use glue on the connecting plates of the main and side boards. Everything else won't need glue to fit.
I also tried printing some parts on non-Bambu Lab printers and the quality wasn't sufficient enough to click the tiles into place.
All parts are found in the Project file, along with the print count.
Feel free to share your prints!
PS: Note that i didn't invent this game but rather designed and prototyped this real-life implimentation to make it a more hands-on gaming experience :)
