This is my refined take on a single long-stemmed rose — elegant, detailed, and surprisingly lifelike. Whether displayed on its own or arranged in a bouquet, it makes a striking piece that never fades.

For the most delicate result, print the rosebud with a 0.2mm nozzle. This produces beautifully fine petals with a natural, realistic finish. A 0.4mm version is also included for those who prefer or only have a standard nozzle.

The stem and leaves print best with a 0.4mm nozzle for strength and reliability. A stem extension is included if you’d like a longer rose. Simply press and twist it into the base of the stem; add a small dab of superglue if you want a permanent fit.

All parts are pre-scaled to 77.5%, which creates a well-proportioned, display-ready rose. You’re welcome to resize it, just be sure to scale every part by the same percentage to maintain correct fit.

ASSEMBLY

1. Screw the small threaded insert into the stem.
2. Attach the petals to the exposed thread (orientation is up to you).
3. Screw the stem onto the completed rose head.
4. Gently warm the leaves using hot air or a small flame to soften them, then bend to achieve a natural curve.

The stem can also be gently heated and shaped for a more organic look.
