Please keep all these small parts away from children and pets, some parts have pointy ends, and they could be a choking hazard too.  Make or use these models at your own risk.

If you find these for sale on Amazon , Etsy or anywhere else, they are not being sold with my permission. There are no "authorized" sellers of these models. They were made for the 3D printing community, not for Amazon or Etsy sellers to profit from.

This Halo inspired Sci-Fi Weapons Pack has been updated to version 3.2 with the following changes:

• Updated the frame to a more compact design that reduces the frame material by over a third compared to the v3.1 design.

These models are designed to print without supports, though some minor bridging is needed. I printed these using a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.1mm layer height, with no supports. You can also use adaptive layers, which may help further with resolving some of the finer details.

The rifle and pistol require some assembly, but glue should be optional. The parts on the rifle are also a very close fit, so calibrating flow is a good idea before running those parts. On the rear pad, there is a V shaped notch which points to the front, which will help to install it correctly (that part just snaps into place). The rifle goes together as shown in the pic below:

The SMG's have a collapsible stock*, with an integrated support. The stock may need to be pushed in (gently) or possibly given a light twist to break the internal part free, so it can slide in and out.

*The stock will only extend if the printer and slicer material profile is dialed in, otherwise it may end up fused. It took about a dozen test prints to get the telescoping stock working right, and my printer is pretty decently dialed in. If it does seem a bit stuck, sometimes giving the stock a light twist back and forth can free it. But if it won't pop in or pull out with a modest bit of effort, it's fused, so enjoy your SMG static model, and forget I mentioned anything about an extendable stock.

A few notes about adhesion:

You can use a smooth or textured plate, however the profile is set up for a textured plate which will help with adhesion. If you feel your smooth plate has good adhesion, and want to try it, please post a comment on what plate you used and how it went. The frame on this model has been optimized to add features that help hold some of the more problematic parts down, but due to the small features, promoting adhesion is still important. 

Some suggestions for promoting adhesion when printing this model are:

• Clean the build plate with dish soap (I use Dawn which seems to work very well for this).
• Textured PEI has generally better adhesion performance than any smooth plate, so try using a textured plate if you have issues.
• If you have an open frame printer (like the A1 or A1 mini), try to place your printer so it is not in a drafty area, or under or near an HVAC return, if possible. Temperature swings caused by drafts can cause many issues, including adhesion problems.
• Use glue if your build plate supports it.
• You can also add a brim or paint on "brim (mouse) ears”, to assist with adhesion in the slicer.
