My studies were all about mathematics, physics, chemistry, sciences in general, but I have always cultivated a passion: the study of functions.
Unlike many (😁), I always find pleasure in visualizing an equation, a formula and I am often amazed by the beauty of the results and the "art" that derives from it.
I therefore had the idea of creating this table representing the Cartesian axes and a subdivision of the values, with pegs to be slid into the slots to cross the values of X and Y.
I had so much fun taking some equations and visualizing them. Hyperbolas, parabolas, continuous functions, harmonics... what a wonderful world (at least for me)!
In any case it is a device with which to view any type of graph, even statistical ...
JULIET EDIT: I added an STL version of the base with the pin's container and a slider to close it. For people who already printed the model I added also the single Box and slider models.
Hey, Publish your pictures and the graphics you obtain (with the relative function studied… don't forget it lol)
Attention: the pegs are very delicate, their printing takes very little time, but be careful to remove them from the plate only once it has cooled down. If you want to make the graphs more interesting, the pegs offer a small conical flare where you could, for example, pass wires to visualize the approximation of the values included in the intervals!
Have a good printing and good fun !
What about offering me a coffee ?
