Smaller version of the Bambu Lab Reusable Spool. Thanks to its smaller outer diameter of 180mm, it can be printed on the A1 Mini and still fit a Bambu Lab filament Refill*. I took a long time to fine tune model geometry and the print settings to optimise the weight, the print time and the quality of the print. So I hope you will like it 😉

* ABS/ASA refills are not compatible, the reels are too big.

Mini Spool Features

• 16 Built-in Filament Clips all around its perimeter. That way, you will always have one at close reach.

• Locking Shim prevents the spool from accidentally opening ( see Installation section for more info).
 

Mini Spool AMS Compatibly

The spool is only compatible with the AMS lite. It's not compatible with the AMS, AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT.
It might be compatible with the AMS with the Hydra Pro Mod but I couldn't test it, I don't have neither of those.

If you plan to use it on the A1 Mini side spool holder, I highly recommend you to print this model too : A1 Mini Rotary Spool Holder Adapter

This prevent the spool from unwinding when the Z-axis is moving down.

Installation

1. Align the notch on the refill with the tab on bottom spool and insert the refill.
2. Insert the top spool inside the refill and turn it clockwise to clock it.
