Descrição
A 3D printed Badminton Racket! Field tested by multiple users, it will not break as long as you don't intentionally hit the ground.
You will additionally need a pack of standard badminton string (10 meters) for this.
- For the racket:
Material: PET-CF, PA12-CF / PATH-CF (in dry climate only) or anything with equal or better mechanical properties for better stiffness.
Reduce infill accordingly if a stiffer material (compared to the above) is used to improve the overall weight of the racket. Otherwise maintain 100% infill.
- For the handle:
Material: PLA, PETG, ABS (or anything equivalent in strength) will do
When printed vertically, the handle must have relatively high wall count (~6) to not break in half. (best aesthetics)
When printed horizontally, a wall count of ~(3) is sufficient, however you will have to deal with support removal.
- Stringing the racket
You do not need specific tools to string up the racket! If you do not have any previous experience stringing your own racket, I suggest you watch a few Youtube guides to get you started. Avoid applying too much pressure before it's fully stringed to maintain it's shape.
- Final Assembly
Simply glue the 3 parts together with a generous amount of glue.
