A single digit split-flap display demo using a microcontroller to control the 28BY-48 stepper motor. A hall effect sensor to detect the 0 position and pegs which can be melted to hold the sensor in place. A 607 bearing is used to ensure smooth rotation.

The middle gear is a little janky, working on a fix to make it more stable.

Remixed

• Remixed the split-flaps to include the cut-out digits and painted so they can be printed with an AMS.
• Moved the posts to use the KY-003 Hall Effect Sensor.
