I printed a 3D Cube puzzle, then decided that it needed a road case. That's why I made this.

It's designed to fit the puzzle cube that is about 30 mm in size including the sleeve or pocket. These puzzles can be found at Thingiverse in the designs of Cube Puzzle Quartet by mathgrrl, and Coffin's Half Hour Cube by mikeq. There are several here at MakerWorld by PaulBPunkt and others. I'm not sure about the size of any other than mathgrrl's, but you can readily resize these for your favorite versions. The cube puzzle and sleeve is not included in this project.

The first one I made was straight from bento3d.design. If you like that one, you can simply go to bento3d.design and build it yourself with the dimensions 33 mm cubed, then throw out the inner box, because it isn't needed, especially if you printed the sleeve included at mathgrrl's page. I've included that version, which consists of three files (box, latch, and lid). If you build the 3-part version, I'd strongly recommend using pieces of 1.75 mm PLA filament for the hardware as suggested in the comment by UltramaticOrange at 3D Printing Nerd's Youtube video about bento3d.design.

After I made the first one, I decided that I'd rather have one that consisted of 2 pieces with no added parts. To print those you just need Cube Puzzle Road Case Bottom Self-Hinged and Cube Puzzle Road Case top Self-Hinged. I've glued a thin square piece of styrofoam to the underside of the top to keep the puzzle nice and snug in the case. If the two-piece version is a little too difficult to close and release right off the printer, then shave or sand off a little of the tip of the bottom's tongue until it snaps shut and releases to your preference. Release by getting a finger tip underneath a little, then open as if peeling a banana.

I'm including profiles for both versions, one for PLA and one for ABS. You probably don't want to try ABS unless you have the heatable print plate and an enclosed printer. I don't have AMS, so by all means, have fun with colors if you do.
