THE PROBLEM

Most cases available for the Bambu Lab filament are not compact and requires a lot of filament to print. As my filament swatch collection grew, I needed a way to organize my swatches that allows for easy expansion and transferring swatches as I add new swatches to the collection.

THE SOLUTION

I designed a swatch case with the following requirements/features in mind:

1. Must be compact, i.e., must be able to take on a lot of swatch tiles but with a small footprint
2. Must be expandable to easily allow more cases to be added. Bonus points if cases are made to be stackable.
3. Filament swatches/tiles must be easily accessible to allow for faster transferring/moving the swatches to and from the case.
4. OPTIONAL: Should have a lid and allow for labeling the cases.

HOW TO PRINT

1. Open the provided print profile in Bambu Studio or print directly from Bambu Handy app.
2. Print one or more copies of the case.
3. To edit the labels, in Bambu Studio, select the plate containing the labels. Select the label you want to edit. Next, in the print process settings (left pane), switch from Global to Objects. Right click on the text_shape item and select Edit Text.
