A little piece of the 90s is back! 💥

Growing up in Portugal, however, I never knew them as Crazy Bones. To me, they were — and will always be — Matutolas! 🇵🇹

Crazy Bones were one of those iconic collectible toys that many of us remember from childhood. Small, colorful, full of personality, and available in many different characters, they turned collecting and trading into part of the fun. Each figure could come in a different color, making the hunt for new characters and variations even more exciting.

They became a memorable part of Portuguese 90s childhood culture, where kids collected them, compared characters, traded duplicates, and tried to build their own colorful collections. Seeing these little characters again instantly brings back that unmistakable feeling of opening something and wondering: Which one did I get this time?

With this project, I wanted to bring that nostalgia into the world of 3D printing, recreating a growing collection of these quirky little characters so they can live again — this time, fresh from the print bed.

The idea is simple: print them, choose different colors, collect them, and bring a little piece of the 90s back to life.
