Create perfectly sized clips for pipes, cables, hoses, conduits, and many other round objects without having to modify the model manually. Simply adjust the parameters and generate the size you need.

• Compatible with multiple mounting methods:
  • Countersunk screw (default)
  • Socket head screw
  • Hex nut

By default, the model is generated with a countersunk screw recess. If you prefer a socket head screw or a hex nut, simply adjust the corresponding parameters described in the guide below.

For rigid pipes, I recommend using a slightly larger opening angle to make installation easier.

For cables, you can even print the clip in TPU. Thanks to the flexibility of the material, the cable can be inserted easily while still being held securely in place.

Parameter Guide

Gap Angle

Controls how far the clip arms are opened.

Adjust this value to change how tightly the clip wraps around the pipe or cable.

Do not exceed 150°, as larger values may cause the model geometry to become invalid.

Wall Distance

Controls the minimum distance between the wall and the nearest point of the pipe or cable.

A minimum value of 10 mm is recommended, but feel free to experiment.

Need to move the pipe farther away from the wall? Simply increase this value and use a longer mounting screw.

Arm Thickness

Controls the thickness of the clip arms.

Thicker arms provide greater stiffness and strength.

A value between 3–5 mm is recommended for most applications. Larger pipe diameters may benefit from thicker arms.

Pipe Diameter

Outside diameter of the pipe or cable.

Remember to add a small clearance (for example 0.1 mm) unless you want a tight press fit.

Clamp Width

Controls the overall width of the clip.

Increase this value for larger or heavier pipes and cables if additional strength is required.

Hole

Diameter of the mounting hole.

Remember to add enough clearance so the screw can pass through freely.

Head Nut Depth

Used when mounting with a socket head screw or a hex nut instead of the default countersunk screw.

Measure the height of the screw head or nut, add a small clearance (approximately 0.2 mm), and enter the result here.

Head Size

Controls the diameter of the socket head screw recess.

The default value is 1 mm, which disables the recess.

If you're using a socket head screw, simply measure the screw head diameter, add a small clearance, and enter the result here.

When using this parameter, keep Nut Size set to 1 mm.

Nut Size

Controls the size of the hex nut pocket.

Measure the nut across the flats, add approximately 0.2 mm of clearance, and enter the result here.

When using this parameter, keep Head Size set to 1 mm.

Printing Recommendations

• Recommended material: PETG
• TPU is an excellent choice for cable management applications
• No supports required
• Print flat on the build plate
