Modular 2m RC Plane Frame

Build a lightweight 2-meter RC airplane using just 3 printed parts, an 18 mm aluminum tube, foam board (or similar material), and standard RC electronics.

This design keeps the structure simple, inexpensive, and easy to customize. The aluminum tube acts as the main fuselage, while the printed parts provide the mounting points for the motor, wing, and tail.

Aluminum Tube

The default models are designed for an 18 mm diameter aluminum tube.

If you are using a different tube size, simply modify the inner diameter of the mounting hole in your CAD software or slicer before printing. The design is intentionally simple, making it easy to adapt to other tube diameters.

Printing

• No supports required (depending on your print orientation).
• Print in PLA, PETG, or your preferred structural material.
• Recommended infill: 20–40%, depending on your aircraft weight and power setup.
