An open-source Gridfinity shelf generator for openGrid, using the openConnect system. This model creates a wall-mounted shelf with an integrated Gridfinity baseplate, with optional magnet holes and retention lips. Part of code based on Gridfinity Rebuilt.

Customization guide:

1. Set the Gridfinity grid. with "gridfinity_width_grids" and "gridfinity_depth_grids". I recommend using an even number for "gridfinity_width_grids". openGrid was designed with Gridfinity dimensions in mind, so 2 Gridfinity cells line up exactly with 3 openGrid cells.
2. (Optional) Add magnet holes. Set "magnet_position" to "All" or "Corners Only". Use "magnet_diameter" and "magnet_thickness" to match your magnets.
3. (Optional) Add shelf body features. Use "shelf_back_offset" to add space between the back wall and the Gridfinity bin area. Use "shelf_side_rim" and "shelf_front_rim" to add material to the sides or front of the baseplate. Use "shelf_rim_lip_height" to add a raised lip that helps keep bins on the shelf. Lips only appear where a side or front rim is enabled.
4. (Optional) Adjust "slot_horizontal_alignment". Use this when the final shelf width does not land on the 28 mm openGrid grid. This can happen when "gridfinity_width_grids" is odd, or when side rims are enabled. Adjust it if you want the left or right edge of the shelf to line up with an openGrid tile.
5. (Optional) Adjust miscellaneous settings:
   • "gridfinity_socket_clearance" - increase this if Gridfinity bins fit too tightly.
   • "slot_lock_distribution" - more locking slots make the fit to openConnect connectors tighter, but also harder to install and remove.
   • "slot_entryramp_flip" - entry ramp direction can matter when installing in tight spaces.
   • "slot_side_clearance" and "slot_depth_clearance" - increase these if the openConnect slots are too tight, or reduce them if the fit is loose.
