Created this spinner for my kids because they enjoy my playing with my leftover old beyblade, but it broke, and I wanted to make something inspired by similar while keeping it simple to print and easy to maintain.
The model is laid out to fit on a single Bambu Lab A1 build plate, so all parts can be printed in one go. Assembly is straightforward, and all of the parts should fit together without any adjustments.
There's one part that you can use or not to fill the gap between the spacers(if you like the gap - just dont print the flat circle with four holes). Also you can decrease the z on 4 cylinders by 5 mm - it should eliminate the gap as well. I use dots of super glue to hold everything together.
I printed the model using a 0.6 mm nozzle, and it worked perfectly. A 0.4 mm nozzle should produce even cleaner results.
NOTE!!! The spinner mechanism has a rib and the gear indentation inside the hole has to be pressed into the part pretty hard! I actually had to step onto the gear with the part laid flat on ground to press it in and I weigh 98kg! Please see photos.
One design choice I made was to keep the spinning mechanism separate from the main spinner. Since this is the part that's most likely to wear out with use, it can be reprinted and replaced without having to print the entire spinner again.
I hope you and your kids enjoy printing and playing with it. If you like the model, an upvote is always appreciated!
