Descrição
Is your bumper apple harvest turning your prize tree into a drooping disaster zone? Stop panicking and start propping with this ridiculously clever parametric support system!
Look, I know you have a bunch of scrap roof lattes or other random wooden posts just gathering dust. This dynamic bracket is designed to solve that "my-branches-are-breaking" crisis instantly. I designed this to quickly turn a generic piece of wood into a specialized, structural support pole that cradles heavy branches before they snap. It creates a customized, strong connection between your drooping branch and the wood you probably already own.
Key Features
- Harvest Saver: Actively prevents devastating branch breaks during peak fruit season (especially apples, pears, peaches!) when the load gets too heavy.
- Parametric Savior: Yes, this is fully parametric. Adjust the cradle diameter to fit your branch size and the lower receiver size to fit your specific roof latte or wooden post dimensions. No need to look for specific sizes!
- No Supports Needed: I optimized the geometry. It prints vertically and support-free, saving you time, filament, and cleanup frustration.
Printing & Assembly
It's an easy print, but a few things matter for strength:
- Max Walls: Seriously, use at least 4 perimeters/walls for structural integrity. Gyroid infill at 25%+ is recommended.
- Filament Choice: While PLA will work for a season, I highly recommend PETG or ASA/ABS for better UV and weather resistance in the orchard.
- Assembly: Simply insert your wooden post into the base. I added a hole for a screw just in case you want extra stability. Measure both branch and wood loosely before editing the parametric parameters. IF you want to you can fix the branch in the bracket with an additional cable tie.
