I plan to give a custom gift watch to my friend, so I decided to design and print a box what I can customize with persionalized text and present the watch like It should. I uploaded the modell withiout the text I used, so anyone can personalize it in Bambu Studio before printing. I uploaded the origan STEP files as well, If someone wants to play with more usique logo options.

The hinge at the back side requires only a piece of 1.75mm filament (PLA for example). To prevent the pin from falling out, I heated up a flathead screw driver and flattened the exess end points. The top part has a convex groove at the hinge which will stop the lid in the perfect position when the box is opened.

I designed the box to fit two paire of D8x2mm magnets, which holds it closed with a satisfying “snap” during closing. Use some super glue to secure it firmly.

A quick guide to add text to TOP part in Bambu Studio:

1. Import the TOP part then Select it. Click on the “Text Shape [T]” tool to add you own lable.

2. Type the text you wish, set the font to suits you style, resize it for perfect visibility, set Thickness between 0.6 - 1.6 mm (for best result) and select “Cut”.

3. Press “Lay on Face” tool, and select the top surface, where you placed your custom text. It will result a NO SUPPORT orientation.
