PEBA Claude Code Mascot - Squeak| No AMS Needed

Design Inspiration

As a big fan of Claude Code(存疑), I designed this mascot model.

More Than a Figure

Unlike standard solid figures, I left a hole on the top of its head for a squeaker insert. Just like a rubber duck, you can give it a squeeze and it will squeak!

NO AMS Design

This model is optimized for FDM printers with a split, single-color design. No AMS required! 

• Orange PEBA:  Body  
• Black PETG:  Eyes  

Removable & Hygienic

Both the eyes and the squeaker use a mechanical press-fit connection, making them fully removable for easy cleaning.

Before You Print

I’ve spent quite some time tuning the parameters, so please prioritize trying the included print profile before tweaking!

Key Print Settings

• AMS required: No.  
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm.
• No support needed.

PEBA Tuning Notes

Due to the unique elasticity of PEBA and the massive amount of overhang bridging required by this model, the flow rate and K-value (Pressure Advance) are extremely sensitive. If they aren't enough, you absolutely need to increase them!

Bridging Flow Tip

I highly recommend a bridging flow ratio of 1.4 or higher (the current profile is set to 1.5).

Zero Internal Supports

There are absolutely no supports inside—not even lightning supports. Firstly, internal supports would create a hygiene nightmare by trapping dirt. Secondly, I tried using lightning supports, and the model ended up too stiff to squeeze!

Troubleshooting Guide

Here are some failure cases I encountered and my troubleshooting analysis:

• Top Under-Extrusion: Likely caused by insufficient flow rate and K-value.
• Bridging Collapse: Usually happens when the K-value is too low. The nozzle leaves one side before it starts extruding, and retracts before reaching the other side. This means the bridge can't anchor to either side, leaving it hanging completely in mid-air.
• Eye Socket Stringing: Don't panic, this is a structural issue. No need to tune your retraction for this—just take a round file, reach in, and snap the strings off. Clean it up a bit, then push the eyes in. The flexible fit is snug and secure!
