🛠️ Step-by-Step Printing & Assembly Guide
Step 1: Repair the File
When you load Cap.stl, Bambu Studio might show a small popup warning about 9 non-manifold edges. This just means the 3D mesh has a tiny math error. Simply click the popup or right-click the model to Repair it automatically before slicing.
Step 2: Prep Your Build Plate
We highly recommend using a Bambu Textured PEI Plate. Make sure it is clean and free of finger oils so the circular parts stick perfectly without lifting.
Step 3: Print the Parts
Load your favorite dark color (like Black PLA Basic) for Plate 1. Then, load a vibrant color (like Red PLA Basic) for Plate 2.
Step 4: Final Assembly
Once the parts cool down, pop them off the build plate. Drop the button cap directly into the main base housing, and your clicker is ready to go!
💡 Filament Recommendations
- PLA Basic: Best for tight tolerances and smooth clicking action.
- Matte PLA: Gives the clicker a very premium, non-glossy look.
- Silk PLA: Great for the button cap if you want it to look shiny and metallic.
