I was looking for the slimmest possible case for my DJI FPV Controller 3  to fit in my backpack.

The print profile is optimized for using PETG with PLA as support material. The support is relatively easy to remove (see the last photo). If you want to print with only one filament, you absolutely must reset the support settings. I would also switch to tree supports in that case. I used PETG-GF with PLA.

The ArmThread.obj features a small chamfer on one side. This assists during the initial insertion, where the thread is self-tapped. Place this on the side of the screw. When installing the screw, press this arm against the ridge on the housing. So you will get easily a thread at a right angle.

For a better fit and to protect the drone, I also glued in some 10x1mm window sealing tape.

Update: I added Latches with 3 different strength levels. I ended up using the strong one.

You need:

• 6 x Screw M3 x 20
• about 20cm  10x1mm windows sealing tape (optional)

The “DJI FPV 3” lettering was created as embedded text. So you can easily modify it to your wishes or remove it entirely.
