Adjustable Shoe Tree with Silica Gel Compartment
Keep your shoes in great shape while helping them dry faster with this fully adjustable shoe tree.
The adjustable shaft allows the shoe tree to fit a wide range of shoe sizes, while the hollow body can be filled with silica gel desiccant packs to improve moisture absorption and speed up drying after use.
The model is designed to be printed completely without supports.

Sizes
Three body sizes are included:
- Small – Ideal for children's shoes. (59 x 34 x 87) mm
- Medium – Fits most adult shoes (men's and women's). (71 x 41 x 105) mm
- Large – Designed for large shoe sizes and boots. (84 x 48 x 125) mm
Three different shaft lengths are also included, allowing you to build the shoe tree that best matches your footwear.
Printing
- Prints completely without supports.
- PETG, or stronger filaments are recommended. The shafts click into place with small clips that are prone to snapping if printed with PLA
Scaling
Print all parts at 100% scale for the intended fit. The model can be scaled if needed, but all parts must be scaled by the same percentage to maintain compatibility between the mating components.
Keep in mind that scaling also changes the carefully designed clearances and tolerances. Excessive scaling is therefore not recommended, as it may affect the fit and functionality of the adjustable mechanism.
Assembly & Use
- Print the desired body size and pair it with the shaft length that best fits your shoes.
- Insert larger shaft part into the toe part until you hear it click into place.
- Inser smaller shaft part into the heel part until you hear it click into place.
- Slide the smaler shaft inside the larger shaft in the correct orientation (the holes in the shafts should align).
- Insert the assembled model inside a shoe and expand the shafts to their maximum length inside the shoe.
- Place the pin thorught the holes on both shafts.
