Printing Guide

There are four print profile combinations available:

• Print Directly Board + Trimmed Pieces
• Print Directly Board + Single Colour Pieces
• Glue-On Squares Board + Trimmed Pieces
• Glue-On Squares Board + Single Colour Pieces

Board Options

• Print Directly Board – Prints the board in place using multiple colours. This requires an AMS (or equivalent multi-material system) and has a longer print time.
• Glue-On Squares Board – Prints the board base and alternate coloured squares separately. Simply glue the squares into place after printing. This option does not require an AMS.

Piece Options

• Trimmed Pieces – Includes a contrasting trim around each piece for a premium look. Requires an AMS.
• Single Colour Pieces – Prints each piece as a single colour, so no AMS is required.

Optional Board Fixers
Optional board fixers are included to securely join the four board quarters together. To use them, drill a pair of 6 mm diameter holes, 20 mm apart (centre-to-centre), spanning each joint between adjacent board quarters. Once drilled, simply press the fixers into the holes to lock the sections together. The fixers are entirely optional and are only required if you would like additional rigidity while playing.

Magnets

Print pauses have already been added to all relevant profiles for inserting 10 mm × 2 mm magnets.

• If using magnets, insert them when the printer pauses, then resume the print.
• If you don't want magnets, simply resume the print immediately when it pauses.
• The magnets are a press fit and do not require glue.
