I designed and built this custom split ergonomic keyboard to make my long hours at the computer more comfortable and my typing faster. It uses a nice!nanov2 and a custom circuit board, for which the files can be found here in addition to build instructions. If you'd really like and have some MacGyvering skills, it's possible to handwire the keyboard as well.

It's fully wireless, and is designed to use an FB652030 battery, which has a battery life nearly twice that of comparable keyboards. It's fully wireless, and will automatically pair with the other half when the firmware is set up correctly.
