Overview

This module enables your Bambu Lab X1/P1-Series printer to draw detailed designs, handwriting, line art, and technical sketches using standard Stabilo® fine-liner pens.

Features

• Requires only 12g of filament and prints in less than 30min without requiring supports.

Compatibility

• Supported printer models: P1P, P1S, X1, X1C, X1E
• Not supported models: A1 mini, A1, A2L, P2S, X2D, H2S, H2D, H2C and future releases.

Installation

1. Take out the extra screw that came in your printer's accessory box.
2. Insert the pen into the module.
3. Tighten the screw using the allen key included with your printer.
4. Snap the module onto the toolhead.
5. Important: Make sure the pen has enough clearance towards the printer's lid.

How to use

1. Software: Convert your design to G-Code using Inkscape with the "Klipper/G-code" extension or online tools like  svg2gcode for SVGs or 3D Writer for handwriting. Save the file to your printer's SD-Card.
2. Preparation: Place a sheet of paper onto the printer's build plate (secure with magnets). Tip: Adding a sheet of cardboard below the paper leads to better results and prevents drag marks.
3. Plotting: Insert the SD-Card back into your printer and navigate to the files section on the printer's display to start the print.
4. Warning: Although the module is designed to snap off in the case of a collision, it could damage your printer. I recommend always keeping an eye on your printer while it's plotting.
