NO AMS Compass 🧭

The first compass model on MakerWorld (well... not a working one, at least for now! 😄).

As someone who loves hiking, forests, and the mountains, I designed this little compass as a fun toy for kids because I realized there weren't any compass models available on MakerWorld. Its size is fairly realistic, making it great as a prop, decoration, or educational model.

Features

• 🧭 Realistic pocket compass design.
• 🔗 Functional print-in-place hinge that allows the compass to open and close just like a real one.
• 🧩 The needle is not fixed to North. You can simply glue it in place if you prefer, or, if you're feeling creative, try to engineer your own mechanism and make it actually work! I'd love to see what you come up with.

No AMS? No problem!

An AMS is not required. If you don't have one, I've included the compass letters as separate parts so you can print them individually and glue them onto the base disc.

Feel free to experiment with different color combinations and make it your own.
