A handlining reel to keep in your pocket or glove box.

Make sure your seems is set to random. There's a 0.5 mm tolerance between the parts so it should work with most printers. I've printed versions with smaller tolerances so in newer printers it should be possible to scale the model down a bit if you want to try it out. 

Before taking it out you might need to “dry” spin it at home for a while to make it free spinning and using a 400grit sandpaper in the bottom seem between the core and the shell, I would also sandpaper out the seems on the funnel for better throws. Load it up with some mono, i use 0.18mm, for them long throws. 

Use it as a hobo reel but the built in drag allows you to avoid some cuts on your finger joints. Press your thumb on the outer part of the reel to activate the drag. The float is of the centerhole kind and then using a line stop to set the depth with a lead bb, this allow the float to travel and the center of mass to be kept together for better throws.
