Amazon Echo Dot Base with Cable Routing

This low-profile base is intended to tidy up the appearance of your Amazon Echo Dot in situations where the power cord approaches the device from the front or side. The Echo Dot sits in the recessed top while the power cable is routed into the base and then out toward the front, left, or right. This also creates a tidy cord loop behind the speaker, where the cord exits the speaker itself.

In my situation, the power cord was coming from the front, and the weight of the cord was twisting the Dot to face rearward. This holder allows the cord to follow a more natural path. It also tucks the cord beneath the device, making it much less noticeable.

On the bottom of the base are recessed pockets for small rubber bumper feet to help keep the base from sliding. These feet are completely optional and are available on Amazon here. These bumper feet are useful to have on hand for many 3D printing projects.
