Modelo 3D Openrotor_motorized update por Dud311 no MakerWorld

Descrição

This update adds a fully motorized version of the OpenRotor fan  using official Bambu Lab parts. Perfect if you want a smooth, realistic rotation with minimal wiring.

a motorized kit with the parts from the Bambu platform of mydesign.

If you haven't printed the model yet:

  • download "BrainOffHitPrintMotorized…"
  • print and clean up the parts
  • get the required parts + Jet engine kit of bambulab
  • use the PDF assemble guide to build the model

You already printed the first model:

  • download “MotorUpdate…”
  • print that model
  • use the provided video on youtube for a disassembly.
  • get the required parts
  • use the PDF assembly guid to rebuidl the model.

A few tips:

  • you have to clean up the gears of the fan really well.
  • the small are not allowed to touch the screws of the DC motor or the motor housing.
  • if you use a cowling printed before July2026, you have to make a small notch where the cable is.

Parts needed:

  • 2x Micro DC Motor
  • 1x N20 DC geared Motor 1000 rpm
  • 1x powerboard
  • 1x long cable SH1.0
  • 1x O-ring or rubberband clean off all oil
  • 4x M2x3mm cylinderhead screws
  • optional: switch for Sw0 slot of the powerboard

For mounting the DC geared motor you can use the screws which sent with it, if you use the one from bambulab.

there are 4 M2 cylinder head screws which need a 3mm lenght of the thread to fix in the motors. One per Motor also works.

Problem solving:

  • only the long spool is turning:
    • some of the blades of the are to close to the stators, bend them a little in the other direction.
    • drill a hole through both spools and connect them eiter with a wire or a filament part.
  • one or more of the 2 fan assemblys are not turning
    • cables connected to the right ports
    • screws of the motormount are not flat with the surface, insert them further without damageing the DC motors magnets.
    • small gear is pushed on to close to the motormount part, so it cannot turn freely.
  • to be continued
