Inspired by the Y-Pen & Pencil, the Y-Crochet Hook features the same ergonomic "Y" shape, requiring minimal grip strength while reducing pressure on your hand.

This handle is designed to be used with standard, affordable crochet hooks, which are sold separately. I recommend using Gorilla Glue to secure the hook in place. One of the handles doesn't have a hole, in case you're wanting to change up the size of the hole, & modify it yourself.

For my own hook, I trimmed about 3/4 inch off the end to achieve my preferred length, but this step is completely optional.

Before gluing, hold the handle the same way you would while crocheting and position the hook at the angle that feels most comfortable for you. Once you've found the right orientation, glue the hook into place and allow it to cure according to the adhesive's instructions.

This is my first time creating a 3D printable model, so there may be room for improvement. I hope this design is useful and inspires others to build upon it and create an even better version. Happy crocheting!
