This is a flotation style rain gauge with the scale marks and numbers printed into the float for easy visibility. The print profile include two mounting bases, but you only need to print whichever base fits your mounting situation (delete the base you don't need before printing). One base has a spike for pushing into the dirt and one has side screw holes for mounting on deck railings or posts. The main body just sits in the mounting base so it can be removed to dump the water.
I suggest you print with a weatherable plastic such as PETG (as in the profile) or ASA. Since the scale is printed in a second color, you will need an AMS for the model.
