🐻 Pop‑Up Peek‑a‑Boo Bear Toy

🧩 Build Instructions

1. Print all files (two sets of legs and fascia).
2. Slide bears into their slots.
3. Insert guides so flat sides meet the bears (align side cutouts).
4. Feed the axle through side holes, attaching the four cams at 0°, 90°, 180°, 270° (see photos).
5. Attach one side with screws.
6. Slide fascias into the gaps on that side.
7. Attach the second side, aligning fascia.
8. Test the motion — initial stiffness is normal; gentle use or light sanding of cam tips (like sharpening a knife) improves action.

👶 Child‑Use Notes

All edges are rounded to prevent cuts and bumps. A slight pinch hazard exists at the open peg tops, but the bears aren’t fixed to the guides, allowing flex and reducing risk.  Frankly, it's more fun to see the bears twist and bounce anyways!

Fascia pieces may break into small parts; for young children, glue fascias in place after alignment (step 6). If preferred, omit them entirely—the toy works just as well without them.
