A detailed flower pot featuring hummingbirds, flowers, and flowing botanical relief. The embossed pattern continues all the way around the pot. Designed to be used as a hanging flower pot, but it also works well as a freestanding planter.

Three hooks are included for the openings, along with one larger hanging hook.

The print profile includes increased wall loops and shell layers to help it work well when printed in PLA, but if using PLA, consider sealing the inside of the pot with a waterproof coating before adding soil or water. For best water resistance, consider to print with PETG or other strong filament if your printer can handle it like ASA or ABS.

Hanging Design

• This planter features a dual-hook system:
• Three hooks that visually blend into the design
• One large hook designed to fit a 2 cm (≈0.8") curtain rod
• Easily resizable to fit thinner or thicker rods depending on your setup

Printing

• Use a clean print plate with some glue (unless you are using a super tack plate)
• Use dried out filament

  • (Different filament types impact the print differently, please adjust your settings accordingly)

     

Support Removal

1. Let the model cool down before removing the supports.
2. Use pliers when removing the supports.
3. Start with breaking the support in the middle  by “crushing” them by using a plier. This helps loosen the structure before removing the supports.
4. Move to the top and work your way downward.
5. Always pull the supports downward rather than outward to reduce the risk of breaking the raised details.
6. Take extra care around the lily's bottom petal, the support will be partly nestled behind the petals.
7. The lily petals are the trickiest area. Gently wiggle the support until it starts to loosen, then pull downward in the same direction as the bottom petal.
8. The support should be pretty easy to remove but be gentle and take your time.
