Modelo 3D FilterBox – Coffee Filter Storage Case por jajaum3d no MakerWorld

Descrição

Most coffee filter holders leave the filters exposed to dust, moisture, kitchen odors, and everyday mess.

FilterBox keeps your paper coffee filters protected, organized, and easy to access — in a clean closed box designed specifically for Brazilian 102/103 and international #2/#4 filter sizes.

Printing Instructions

For the best result, simply choose the print profile that matches the coffee filter size you want to print.

This model can be printed in PLA or PETG.

If you prefer to slice it yourself, these settings are recommended:

  • Wall generator: Arachne
  • Walls: 2
  • Infill: 5% gyroid
  • No - Supports
  • Seam position: Back

The design already has enough structural geometry, so high infill is not necessary. Standard slicer settings should also work fine.

Assembly

Please check the assembly animation.

The hinge was designed with a simple snap-in connection. Start by fitting one side of the lid hinge into the box hinge, then continue pressing along the hinge line until the entire lid clicks into place.

After assembly, open and close the lid a few times to make sure the hinge moves smoothly.

Internal Dimensions

To help you choose the correct version, you can compare the internal dimensions of each box with the coffee filters you already have.

  • Brazilian Size 102
    Internal size: 175 × 125 × 20 mm
    Capacity: up to 30 filters
  • Brazilian Size 103
    Internal size: 210 × 160 × 23 mm
    Capacity: up to 30 filters
  • International Size #2
    Internal size: 170 × 107 × 50 mm
    Capacity: up to 100 filters
  • International Size #4
    Internal size: 200 × 133 × 50 mm
    Capacity: up to 100 filters

Coffee filter sizes may vary slightly depending on the brand and country, so checking the internal dimensions is the safest way to confirm compatibility.

Description

FilterBox is a closed coffee filter storage case designed to keep paper coffee filters protected, organized, and easy to access in everyday kitchen use.

Most coffee filter holders are open stands that leave the filters exposed to dust, moisture, kitchen odors, grease, and general countertop mess. FilterBox takes a cleaner approach: a fully enclosed storage box with a practical hinged lid, designed specifically for coffee paper filters.

This model includes four versions:

  • Brazilian Size 102 – fits up to 30 coffee filters
  • Brazilian Size 103 – fits up to 30 coffee filters
  • International Size #2 – fits up to 100 coffee filters
  • International Size #4 – fits up to 100 coffee filters

Each version was designed around the actual filter size, not around a specific cardboard package. This makes the box more compact, cleaner, and more practical than storing the original packaging on the counter.

The hinged lid keeps the filters protected while still allowing quick access. The front area of the lid is slightly extended to make opening easier, and the central coffee bean detail works as a natural press point for the locking mechanism. The hinge snaps into place during assembly and stays integrated with the design.

The front relief uses a stylized coffee filter shape to make the purpose of the box immediately recognizable. The vertical ribbed texture adds grip, structure, and visual identity while keeping the design clean enough to fit modern kitchens, coffee corners, home cafés, offices, and breakfast stations.

FilterBox is not just a decorative coffee accessory. It is a functional kitchen organizer made to solve a real everyday problem: keeping coffee filters clean, protected, and ready to use.

The closed design helps avoid loose filters sitting exposed near steam, dust, cooking smells, or countertop clutter. It is especially useful for people who keep coffee filters near the coffee maker, espresso station, kettle, grinder, or kitchen shelf.

The design works well in neutral colors such as white, black, beige, brown, and gray, but it can also be printed in brighter colors for a more playful kitchen setup. Matte filaments give it a particularly clean and premium look.

This is a practical 3D printable coffee filter box for anyone who uses paper coffee filters daily and wants a cleaner storage solution than open filter holders or supermarket cardboard packaging.

Useful for kitchen organization, coffee stations, countertop storage, home cafés, office coffee corners, breakfast areas, coffee accessories, paper filter storage, closed coffee filter holder, coffee filter organizer, filter case, filter box, kitchen storage box, and modern functional 3D printed home accessories.

Easy to print, easy to assemble, and practical for everyday use. It is a clean storage solution for Brazilian coffee filter sizes 102 and 103, as well as international cone coffee filter sizes #2 and #4.
