Version 2 retains all the features of the original Stop Block while introducing a hinged flip-up mechanism.

The stop can be lifted out of the way to make an initial cut or remove material, then lowered back into position for the final cut without losing the setup, measurement, or accuracy.

In addition to mounting on a fence, Version 2 can also be used directly on a flat surface, making it ideal for miter stations, workbenches, jigs, and other custom setups. The flip-up feature allows the stop to be temporarily disengaged while preserving the exact reference point for repeatable cuts.
